Lasting Power of Attorney & Court of Protection

Powers of Attorney are special legal documents allowing a close friend or relative to look after your personal and financial affairs, should you no longer be able to do so.

If an individual is judged by the court to be no longer able to make decisions for themselves and a Power of Attorney is no longer possible, then an application can be made to handle an individual’s affairs through the courts.
